Lago Rose Calcada (Lago Pink) is a beautiful pink dry wine from Portugal for every day. After soft pressing and static decanting, Lago Rose is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 15 days. The vineyard area of the Vinho Verde region is 20,000 hectares and stretches from the Atlantic Ocean to the high-altitude regions of the Douro Valley. The immediate proximity of the Atlantic creates a moderately cool humid climate, which, on the one hand, contributes to high yields, and on the other hand, makes it difficult for grapes to ripen. Soils contain granite, loam and sand. Such a terroir allows you to get surprisingly fresh, mineral and gastronomic wines. Quinta da Calçada is the oldest producer of the Vinho Verde region; a pioneer in the field of sparkling wines, which also produces quiet white, pink and red wines of the highest quality. In the early 60s, Manuel Antoniuda Mota, a successful entrepreneur, acquired the Quintada Calçada Hotel, whose rich history has been going on for three generations.
