BIONT

The trademark "Biont" was created on April 2, 1992 in St. Petersburg. The main activities of "Biont": development and production of microbiological preparations used in therapeutic, dietary and baby food; production of therapeutic and dietary baby food. Currently, Biont produces bacterial liquid (live) Starter cultures of bifidumbacteria and lactobacilli, as well as Bifidumbacterin classic and Bifidocephir for children. Liquid bifidumbacterin (lactobacterin) is included in the "List of vital and essential medicines" approved by the Ministry of Health of Russia on 03.01.92. Starter cultures can be used as a therapeutic agent and as a starter for the production of fermented milk products. Liquid starter cultures are a daily monoculture of bifidobacteria (or lactobacilli) in 1 ml of at least 108 microbial cells. Shelf life is 20 days. As a therapeutic agent, it is indicated for wide use in infectology, gastroenterology, pediatrics, oncology and hematology, gerontology, gynecology and obstetrics, dermatology and allergology, surgery and cosmetology.
