Heat treatment promotes the formation of pores in the material, and exposure to acid with subsequent neutralization – complete purification. The resulting sorbent has the following properties: strength and wear resistance; no dust formation; the possibility of multiple use; absorbing qualities due to high porosity. The hardness of coconut coal is more than 96%, and the humidity and ash content is up to 5%.
