The Firestone primer is used for cleaning and processing the glued surfaces of the EPDM membrane for self-adhesive material. The primer can be used instead of a cleaner to clean the EPDM membrane before applying Firestone joint adhesive. The EPDM membrane under the primer must be clean, dry and free of foreign materials and dirt. Firestone primer is used on all parts covered with self-adhesive material. Apply the primer to the EPDM surface with special brushes with wide movements forward and backward and with strong pressure along the prepared surface until it takes on a dark gray color, without streaks and streaks. Allow the surface to dry (usually no more than 10 minutes) before putting self-adhesive material or applying glue for seams. It is not allowed to reduce the thickness of the layer. The consumption rate (for a specialist) is one balloon (0.95 liters) per 7.5 linear meters of seam.
