    Basic information

    The factory is located in the cradle of Russian architecture, the pearl of the Golden Ring of Russia – the ancient city of Suzdal. Our company has a rich and interesting history: it appeared more than 70 years ago. At the place of the "consumer cooperation", milk was received, which was then processed manually there. As time went on, the company developed, was equipped with equipment, and the range of products was actively expanding. In 1965, the plant took the honorable third place in the quality of cheeses at the VDNH exhibition, people will learn about the products from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok. Decades later, the company continues to develop, improves equipment, attracts qualified personnel, trains its own employees and increases the volume of milk processing to 19 thousand tons per year. In 1980, the plant was moved from the center of the city of Suzdal to the industrial zone, a new modern building with spacious workshops and warehouses welcomed the plant's employees. As a result of the economic transformations that took place in the country in 1993, JSC "Suzdal Dairy Plant" was created. In 2002, the plant became part of the Opole Holding Company. In 2011, "Suzdal Dairy Plant" as part of HC "Opole" is part of the structure of the Russian company "Wimm-Bill-Dann", owned by Pepsico. At that time, the plant introduced a HACCP food safety system, installed equipment for sanitary treatment of equipment – a sip-sink that meets international standards. In 2015, the Suzdal Dairy Plant was acquired by two agricultural enterprises of the Vladimir region: SEC "Shikhobalovo" and CJSC "Suvorovskoye" in order to sell their own products and reduce the delivery time of raw materials - from milk production to the consumer, preserving all the value and usefulness of whole milk in dairy products. In 2016, new equipment was purchased and installed at the plant. Thanks to this, the lines for the production of cottage cheese and butter (which have not been produced here since 2009) have been put back into operation.) A new recipe and types of cottage cheese have been developed. Fermented milk products are made from whole milk with the addition of natural starter cultures and kefir fungi (sourdough and kefir fungi are grown at the factory in their own starter department, in strict compliance with sanitary standards and technological regimes). The manufactured products have shelf life from 7 to 35 days. This is achieved through strict compliance with sanitary standards and technological regimes in the production of products. Today, the company employs 140 people, including graduates of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions, there are employees who have worked at the company for more than 20 years and generously share their experience with young people.
