For us, "Sever-Metropol" is, first of all, history. Every day we work to preserve the legendary traditions of the Soviet confectionery business. Cakes "Potato", "Leningradskoe", cakes "Bird's milk", "Theatrical", buns "Boucher", cookies "Almond" and dozens more names that are associated with the warmest memories from childhood... ― we cook them today, as we did decades ago, using natural ingredients ― the freshest chocolate, condensed milk, natural cream and, of course, butter. The products undergo strict quality control ― for example, we order boiled condensed milk already in Mordovia. More than 40 menu items ― these are cakes and pies invented in the 50s - 70s by legendary Soviet technologists. In them you will learn your favorite nostalgic tastes: shortbread dough, delicate biscuits, butter cream, souffle. The second part of the menu is popular modern developments: cream cheese creams, light airy mousses, yogurt souffles, juicy fillings of fresh berries and fruits. We honestly publish the composition on the packaging. Due to the large flow of production, we deliver cakes and pastries to shops and cafes freshly prepared ― so that you can enjoy their freshness. "Sever-Metropol" are two centuries―and-a-half stories that merged into one in 2007. Today, the company unites a confectionery factory and more than 100 coffee shops in St. Petersburg, which are developing under a franchise. In 2007, we built a new factory building on the Vyborg side and equipped it with modern European equipment. The factory with an area of more than 6.5 thousand square meters employs more than 700 specialists. In 2014, they received the international production certificate for the food safety management system ISO 22000:2005. We do everything so that you can buy your favorite cakes and pies anywhere in the city and be satisfied with their taste, composition and freshness. Nostalgic tastes from childhood are a kind of business card of the city, our mission is to carefully preserve them. Today, the confectionery "Sever-Metropol" is included in the "Red Book of memorable places of St. Petersburg" and is not subject to reprofiling.
