Basic information
The history of the creation of the brewery "Münhell" dates back to the Middle Ages. In 1516, the then unknown brewer Karl Munchel from the town of Munchelhausen, in eastern Bavaria, created a unique beer variety at that time, which was strikingly different from existing samples. Old Karl strictly followed the provisions of the "Precept on the purity of beer", approved by the Bavarian Duke Wilhelm IV in 1516, namely, "nothing but barley, hops and water"... The brewery "Münhell" was founded in 2002. In May 2009, a new brewery was put into operation, the capacity of which allows to produce more than 100,000 liters per month. To create this project, the latest, reliable and most high-tech production and bottling lines equipped with an automatic quality control system were purchased.
