Consumer cooperation is a type of cooperation that unites consumers for joint purchases, production of consumer goods and subsequent sale to the public. In Russia, consumer cooperation emerged in the 60s of the 19th century, and in 1916 - 1917, there were already more consumer societies in Russia than in the whole of Europe, they accounted for more than 35% of the total turnover of the country. Kinel - Cherkassk RaiPO was organized in 1928. From the very beginning, the consumer society was created to improve the living, working and living conditions of the population living in rural areas. To date, the goal of the Kinel - Cherkassk district is to create favorable economic conditions for the sustainable development of consumer cooperation in the Kinel - Cherkassk district. The main tasks of the RaiPO are: updating the material and technical base of the enterprise, the development of production and catering activities, increasing purchases of agricultural products from the population, the preservation of trading enterprises in sparsely populated areas of the district. Also, one of the priorities of the Kinel - Cherkassy Consumer Society is the production, promotion on the market and bringing to the consumer of natural products produced in compliance with all quality standards and sanitary and hygienic standards. Since the improvement of product quality largely determines the survival and success of the enterprise in the conditions of the modern market.
