Malare acrylic-urethane–based aerosol yacht varnish is a professional organic paint and varnish material designed to protect and decorate metal and mineral surfaces; the varnish provides a durable, water- and precipitation-resistant coating that protects surfaces from mechanical damage, pollution and the effects of the marine climate, as well as gives them water- and dirt-repellent properties. Scope of application • Suitable for exterior and interior work • It is applied to metal surfaces used in shipbuilding, for finishing yachts, as well as to building facades and other elements exposed to the external environment. • Widely used for varnishing the floodplains of ships, facades and other metal and mineral surface products Advantages • Has high weather resistance, including in marine climate conditions • Gives the surface water- and dirt-repellent properties, does not turn yellow under the influence of UV radiation, prevents scratches • Protects against exposure to water, including sea water, as well as from household detergents • Ensures the durability of the coating and retains its appearance under prolonged exposure to aggressive conditions Specifications • Consumption: up to 10 m2/l per coat, depending on the type of surface • Density: 1.03 g/cm3 • Drying time: at a temperature of 25± 2 °C and relative humidity of 50± 5% – 45-60 minutes before applying the second layer, 120 minutes before complete drying • Abrasion resistance: Class 1 according to ISO 11998 / DIN EN 13300 Instructions for use • Surface preparation: the surface must be dry and clean; it is necessary to remove the remnants of the old coating, dirt, grease, rust • Painting conditions: the coating is applied at a temperature of +5 ° C and a relative humidity of no more than 80% • Care of the painted surface: clean only after complete polymerization of the coating (up to 30 days after application) by careful rinsing with pressurized water without the use of detergents Labor and environmental protection • Avoid contact with eyes and skin; in case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water. • Keep out of reach of children • Do not pour the material into the sewer, reservoir or soil; transfer the liquid residues to the hazardous waste collection site
