Description

R404A freon (freon) is a mixture of refrigerants in the following proportions 52% R125 + 44% R143a + 4% R134a. It belongs to the group of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs). It is being developed as an alternative replacement for refrigerants R22 and R502 (the transition requires changing the filter dryer, changing the mineral type oil to polyolester, as well as making some additional changes to the system if necessary). This type of freon has zero ozone-depleting potential (ODP=0), and its global warming potential (GWP) is 3750. By 2030, according to the decision of the European Parliament adopted on December 16, 2013, the exploitation of freon R404a, as well as other fluorinated gases contributing to the development of the greenhouse effect, should decrease by 79%. In heat exchangers, freon R404a, consisting of components with a similar boiling point, manifests itself as an azeotrope. In comparison with R22 and R502 refrigerants, it has a reduced discharge temperature, which makes it much more effective at low boiling temperatures. Application: in refrigeration equipment for trade (both low- and medium-temperature), in transport (in refrigerators), in modern industrial cooling systems. Oil type: polyolester; Features: constantness of the mixture during refrigerant leakage, similarity in characteristics with freon R507, is pumped into the pipeline in liquid form. It is a quasi-isotropic, having a temperature slip of less than half a degree.
