Description

IRGA is an amazing plant, a family of rustic. It is undemanding to grow conditions, it is capable of transporting frost to -40 -50 degrees normally, and during the flowering of frost to -5 -7 degrees. It grows well on the soils of various composition and acidity. But there is an indispensable condition - if you want to get a crop of large, sweet, with a flavor of fresh berries, you need to take the sunny place. Therefore, Irgi bushes should be located at a distance of at least 2.5-3 m, unless you put the goal of growing a high alive fence, for which Irga is very suitable. The most common Irga round-hearted, or Irga ordinary (Rotundi-Folia) is found in culture as a fruit, honey and decorative plant. The leaves are falling, rounded or oval, on top of dark green, the bottom is pale green, yellow-red or dark red. White or cream flowers are collected in palate brushes at the ends of the shoots. Fruits round, bluish-black or reddish-purple, diameter up to 10 mm, edible, sweet, ripen in July.
