JSC "Slonim KPF" was put into operation in 1977. This is the only working enterprise out of five typical simultaneously built enterprises in the USSR specializing in the production of worsted yarn. For 4 decades, a difficult and thorny path of transformation, modernization of production, existence in modern economic conditions has been passed. In the 21st century, JSC "Slonim KPF" is a real brand that has proven itself not only in its native country, but also abroad. In 2017, the company celebrated its 40th anniversary. In 2018, 2 Italian winding machines were put into operation at the enterprise, which provide a high degree of yarn purification from defects, weed impurities and fluff accumulation, which significantly improves the quality of products, and a special winding system ensures uniform yarn coloring. In 2021, the open joint stock company "Slonim Worsted Spinning Factory" purchased a complex of dyeing equipment. The introduction of new technologies for dyeing chemical harness and staple fiber into production will expand the color range of yarn made of chemical fibers with an even color in the finished form. Open Joint Stock Company "Slonim Worsted Spinning Factory" belongs to the textile industry and is part of the Belarusian State Concern for the production and sale of light industry goods "Bellegprom".
