The Kuban Confectionery Plant is the largest enterprise of the confectionery industry in the South of Russia, producing more than 20 thousand tons per year with a design capacity of 15.14 thousand tons. The recognized leader of the consumer market of the Krasnodar Territory, has been successfully operating since 1988. The product range includes over 300 items. The plant has been headed from the first days of its operation by General Director Vladimir Kochetov, Hero of Labor of Kuban, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of KubGAU, Laureate of the USSR Council of Ministers Award, Honored Worker of Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Russian Federation, Honored Worker of the Food and Processing Industry of Kuban. More than 800 people work under his leadership, including more than 100 veterans of production, 5 honored workers of the food industry of the Russian Federation, 9 honored workers of the food and processing industry of Kuban, 4 candidates of sciences. OJSC Confectionery Plant "Kuban" is a production and technological base for specialized departments of the Kuban State Agrarian and Technological Universities, the branch Institute of the Federal State Budgetary Research Institute of Confectionery Industry, the International Industrial Academy, Voronezh State University of Engineering Technologies, Moscow State University of Technology and Management named after K. G. Razumovsky, Omsk State Agrarian University named after P.A. Stolypin.
