"Our Farm” has its own herd of Anglo-Nubian goats, whose milk we use to produce 100% natural products. Why did our choice fall on this particular breed? It is believed that Nubian goats are the most ancient of those tamed by man. Currently, Anglo-Nubian goats are the most popular in the USA. It was from there at the end of the 20th century that animals from the best farms were brought to Russia and began to be bred. A distinctive feature of Nubian goats is a hooked nose, large hanging ears and expressive eyes. Anglo-Nubian goats are notable for their milk. The taste and chemical composition make it very special and unlike the milk of other goat breeds. Milk has a pleasant creamy nutty taste, it has no specific smell and taste. Due to its chemical composition, it is well suited for the preparation of all types of dairy products. Milk contains 4-9% fat and 3.8% protein, which has a positive effect on the production of cheese products. Goat's milk has more easily digestible fat and protein than that contained in cow's milk. The increased content of easily digestible protein is important for baby food, as well as for the nutrition of a weakened body. Also important is the fact that goat's milk contains much less lactose than cow's milk, so the milk of Anglo-Nubian goats can be drunk by people even with lactose intolerance. Goat's milk contains a lot of potassium, vitamin B12, which is responsible for hematopoiesis and controls metabolic processes, as well as a fair amount of calcium, phosphorus, iron and vitamins in easily digestible forms. It has wound-healing properties, promotes the recovery of the body after stress and physical exertion. Since the number of Nubian goats in Russia is small, their cost is several times higher than the cost of goats of other breeds. That is why products made from Nubian goat milk are exclusive and rare.
