History and traditions of the Giannelli family Commitment to Italian good taste since 1960 The Giannelli family has always been committed to the production and protection of authentic Italian espresso. The Paranà roasting company, founded in 1960, thanks to the enthusiasm and experience of founder Ruggero Giannelli, produces exceptionally selected and high-quality mixes. Since the early 1950s, Ruggiero has continued the business started by his father Emilio, marketing coffee in Italy on behalf of national importers. In 1960, thanks to the experience gained in the green coffee business, Ruggiero decided to take over the production and founded the current Paranà roasting company in Rome. THE VALUE OF TRADITIONS. Today, the process of roasting Parana preserves unchanged those traditions that allow you to get excellent results without changing the aroma, high quality and taste. Each stage of processing is monitored by highly qualified personnel. Giannelli Group began its business history in the 30s in Rome with the opening of several cafes, which later became one of the most famous in Rome. In addition, Giannelli Group began to manage several areas of activity at the new Leonardo da Vinci Airport, which was opened on the occasion of the Olympic Games, acquiring increasing competence and specialization in the field of retail management. Today Giannelli Group consists of 12 companies in various sectors, such as: coffee roasting, wine production, olive oil production, catering, restaurants, cafeterias, gourmet Italian cuisine stores, bookstores, museum sites, as well as the creation and distribution of software solutions. Today, with more than 80 years of experience in commercial activities with substantial annual income, Giannelli Group is a reliable and solid business partner.
