In the Arctic, where access to fresh food is limited, it was necessary to develop a diet that would provide the expedition participants with all the necessary nutrients.The Northern Landing Association, together with the best technologists and experts in the field of nutrition and medicine, has developed special individual nutrition diets that provide all the necessary easily digestible nutrients, vitamins, and calories. Food rations can be stored for a long time without loss of quality and nutritional value. The diet supports a high level of energy and physical activity. Special attention is paid to the development of canned, freeze-dried and dehydrated products that are easy to transport and store. The individual preferences and needs of the expedition participants are taken into account. The IRP-Arctic kit includes breakfast, a two-course lunch and dinner, ham, a flameless portable food warmer, hygiene and water disinfection products, cutlery, chocolate, vitamin paste and much more for rapid saturation and recovery of the SIP. One of the most important advantages of the Arctic IRP kits is the ability to consume the product in a heated form without using improvised means. To do this, each package of the IRP-Arctic kit contains a portable flameless heater, the main heating element of which is a special tablet. The bag of food just needs to be placed in the heater and pour water. The product is heated to the desired temperature and ready for use. A similar technology for heating food is used only in the Arctic Food Processing Plant.
